Major project and Thesis | First session Brief

Research Question

I would like to base my research in the identity.

• What is identity?
• How do we build our identity as individuals?
• How do we build our identity as society?

 

VFX interests

I would like to use VFX as a tool in order to transmit a message, and not as a message itself. Even though, I would like to explore this techniques.

• 3D CGI integration
• Compositing
• Motion graphics
• Color grading
• All the vfx minor techniques we have learned during the master

 

Career Interest

I would like to be part of a production company, in the path of post production. Therefore, I am interested to be close to a whole production process, asn build my own project focusing especially in post production.

 

VFX pathway

I think the most valuable thing I have learned in this master is how to correctly use the tools in order to make my ideas come true. I do not want to work for a post production company and focus on doing one thing for the rest of my professional career. My pathway os more towards shot video formats as marketing and videoclips, not movies. Therefore, considering how that environment works, I should focus mainly is be more resolutive and polifacetic. In order to build my portfolio, I would like to have as many as finished conceptual projects as I can.

Project Idea

I would like to build my project as ad advertisement format.

For that, I might need:

 

• Camera: The Blackmagic Pocket camera can be good enough for my purpose, with different lenses depending on what will be shooted.

• Studio sound recorder

• Crew
