Crew
For this shooting, we were a crew of 2 people: Adrian Galdeano and me, Carola Martos. We divided the duties this way:
- Directing: Carola Martos
- Camera operator: Adrian Galdeano
- Script: Carola Martos
- Lighting: Carola Martos and Adrian Galdeano
Materials
We counted with the following materials:
- Blackmagic Pocket 4K
- 17,5 mm Lens
- 50 mm lens
- 2 portable led lights
- 1 steady cam
Setting
We setted the room as stated in the picture. We placed the character int he middle of the room (Blue dot) and the lighting behind her. we used 2 neural led lights with high intensity. We also counted with the general illumination fo the room itself, celital lights from the roof and small lighting from the walls. We placed the camera in different places depending on the shot.
Technical specifications
We ended up using the same lens for all the shooting, the 17,5mm one.
We recorded in Apple Pro Res and in Ultra HD.
We did not need to record in Ultra HD, since we are going to export the project in HD. But, since we recorded with a steadycam, we wanted to hae a bigger resolution, so we do not lose quality when applying the camera stabilization.
Also, we did an HDR 360 picture o the set. The picture is taken from the center, the place in which the dart is going to be. This picture is useful for, in one hand, have a picture of how the whole set is, and in the other hand, to use it as a skydome light and help the lighting of the 3D elements to be more real. We will use this image as an important reference for the lighting of the dart.
