Step 1: EMANCIPATION
The beggining of the video, made in frame to frame animation, showcases the beggining of the story understood as the begginign of the life itself.
It starts with a litle circle which grows and explodes as the sun, the light. This idea is connected with the idea of being born. Then, the light transform into the world, the place in which we arrive. From the world a couple appears and in the mix of them we see a heart, symbolizing love. The heart is connected by a diamond to a house. The diamond gives the idea of something valuable, ferreous that we learn in the early stages of our childhood. This symbolizes the values of society structures, related with stability, union and tradition. This house disappear under its own fog, as this structures, following the theories of Bauman, have disappeared with the course of time, they have been fully disbanded and so does the house, which disappears under the fog. From there, a key arises and it goes to open a door, which opens up into another color, another environment. This comes along with the idea of opening up to the modernity. In this new environment, it appears a bird flying -connected with the idea of freedom-, which transforms into an aeroplane -connected into the idea of taking off and also to the modernity- and then it evolves in a human shape. from this shape, the animation melts, and as it melts it unveils the real video, the real person. This transformation can be understood as the person who leaves the house, the social structures whith which they have grown all their life, breaking up into the modernity. The fact that it melts it remind us to the liquid element, which is used by Buaman to describe the nowadays state of society. He defines it as a figure in constantly change, inconsistent as the liquid, in which everyone is affected by an existential anguish due tu the uncertainty from a new order of the world.
Is this feeling the one which is going to bedeveloped in the next part of the video. It is going to be considered as an exploration of the reaction of the young people to this liuid society, really impacted by the rythm of the city, the hipermedia society, the social media, the lack of values and the instability of human relations and institutions.
Step 2: Space and Time
The video is going to be built as the chase of to characters to search for their real self.
